The guy from the catering company called to say that he's had a cancellation and would be able to get us staff for the reception after all! At twice the price to what we had budgeted.
Well, as with most wedding problems, chuck some money at it and it's sorted. No worries. Nope.
Actually I acted appalled at the price and told him we'd think about it until Monday, and he said he'd see what he could do with the cost. But if nothing else comes up that's what we'll have to go with. At least we'll know they are professionals.
Excuse me while I go and update our budget spreadsheet. Again.
