It's Windy Here In Cape Town! - Live Post

Cape Town sure is a beautiful city! Lodged in between the mountains and the sea the views are breathtaking. About as breathtaking as the wind that has been going mad since we got here! Apparently they had really nice weather last week, but now even though it's sunny and quite warm, we have 50 Km/Hr winds trying to sweep us of our feet as soon as we go outside.

Cape Town

Yesterday we spent the day like real tourists, on the top of one of them sight seeing busses. It took us up to Table Mountain and all around Cape Town. We got off at a really nice beach and James took some pictures of the waves. Not until he was ready to put his camera away did he realise that we had left the camera bag on the bus, along with all the camera accessories! We went back straight away, and someone called the bus driver to ask him to look for it. he came back to us saying that unfortunately they could not find it. James was upset to have lost his bag, as it was his birthday present from me. We stayed at the beach for a couple of hours, and actually managed to get the exact same bus back! The first thing I did when we got on was to lie down flat on the floor and look underneath the seats, and there on the floor in the far corner was the bag! Yey! It had travelled around Cape Town for 2 hours on its own but was happily returned to us.
