The Magic Flute

On Saturday all of a sudden summer came back for a short visit, it was really hot and sunny all day!

I went for a trip to Stockholm with my work mates. We went to see the opera "Trollflöjten", or The magic flute"

I have not painted my face, it's the sun shining through the leaves

What can I say... Opera is not for me. I couldn't hear much of the actual words they were singing, and I really didn't get the plot. I was mainly confused and thought the songs lasted for ages ("o o o oo look at this flute la la la la flute flute flute o o o o pretty flute la la la laaa") .

They are incredible singers and I don't understand how they can create such notes, but no I will not be going to the opera again. Nope.

The place we went to though, Confidencen was amazing. An old riding house that has been remade into a theatre which is lit up by candlelight. It made you sleepy though.

Afterwards we went out to a restaurant for some nice food (and a frozen lime cheescake which was lovely!) before we headed back to Eskilstuna where James picked me up! Thank you!

The reasturant was called "The Blue Door" but it didn't have a blue door
