New Riding Friend

There is a new girl in the stable who has started riding Miramis, Karin. It was her first day yesterday, and when I got to the stable she was standing outside with Miramis, looking a bit confused and frustrated.

I immediately knew why, some days Miramis just don't feel like coming in, and he simply refuses to go in to the stable.

It's happened to all of us, but off course Karin didn't know that, so she was convinced that she was doing something wrong and that Miramis didn't like her! Haha bless her, she was relieved when I explained that this is just something that he does sometimes.

We went for a ride together and then rode in the pen for a bit, it's so nice to have some company as mainly I ride by myself. Off course James will still be able to ride Miramis sometimes, but he rarely has time during the weeks.

I love meeting new people, Karin was really nice and chatty and "horse people" have so much in common. You can learn from each other, and I look forward to having a new riding buddy this autumn!
