Start with dying your hair with a cheap hair dye that makes it look yellow. Straighten it and hope it will look better. Realise it now just looks straight and yellow. Get laughed at by your niece.

Tease your fringe on the wrong side, try to brush it out and redo it. Twice.

Realise that you have gone OTT with the teasing, and continue to be teased by your niece.

Try to roll your hair backwards and secure it with clips without having it fall out on the side. Repeat three times.

Try to do a swirly thing on the side of your head, succeed on one side but not the other. Realise you are running out of time and quickly but some clips on the other side.

Spray spray spray and off you go!
