Swenglish

When you learn a new language you quickly realise that you can't translate things straight off.

For example, the sentence "I do not know" in Swedish is "Jag vet inte". That would word-by-word be translated into "I know not".

Some words translated directly from Swedish:

Sucking pipes
(another story about Swenglish and straws here)

River Horse

Dust Sucker

Hand Cloth

Soil Man

Raw Animal

Cow Foot
