Gingerbread Cheesecake

I have promised my work colleagues that I will bake something because it is nearing Christmas (!!). I used to bake all the time when we first moved into our house, but as James is not too keen on cakes and stuff I ended up having to throw a great deal away.

Now I feel like baking again though, and this time I have decided to make a Christmas themed gingerbread cheesecake! I love cheesecake so much, if it is right it is THE best dessert.

Question is: should I make a frozen cheesecake (which is more like homemade ice-cream) or a soft cheesecake that you make in the oven?
