Wonderful Horse

On Wednesday I practiced what I learnt at our last riding lesson.

Well actually I started with walking around with Corvette, concentrating on making her follow my every move without me touching her. I stopped, turned, sped up, and she followed. All of a sudden I got this surreal sensation, how can we control these massive animals? How amazing it is that they listen to us and choose to do as we ask!

This is a film of Corvette following me around, I know it's very dark and she looks like a big monster. But it was so cool!

Then I did some lounging, it's great! After the last time me and Linda practiced it together with one of us riding Corvette really gets it. It's a great way to start a work out especially if the horse has a lot of energy.
I let her run for about 10 minutes before I started riding. And it went so well! We practiced cantering on a big eight, and she really got what I was trying to do.

I was over the moon afterwards, wonderful horse!
