White Christmas

Everything looks white and pretty now, and all the Christmas lights are up on the high streets and in the gardens. We actually have Christmas lights in our tree all year around, but we only turn them on for Christmas. They are so small you can't see them when they are not on. Perfect as it saves us the hassle of putting them away every year.

So today it is lovely and snowy, but tomorrow we are expecting warmer weather and rain!! Just in time for Christmas this lovely white cover will be turned into a slushy mass. So annoying. This has been the warmest December for ages, which is crap as we miss the snow but good for our heating bill.

This time last year it had been around -20 for weeks, this year it differs between -3 and +3. On Monday it's supposed to be over 10 degrees plus, I have never heard of that in December!!

And to think how tired we were of the snow earlier this year!!

Enjoy it while it lasts
