The Domino Effect

All day today we waited for Josephine to have the next kitten. She had Memory at 00.30 in the morning, and by 2pm nothing had happened.

As Twiggie has another cat who is about to give birth as well, they decided to go home.

We then waited all day and all night, James sat with Josephine and Memory almost non stop. When he took a break and came out to sit in the sofa for some lunch, Josephine came running after carrying Memory by her foot!  She soon got the hang of how to carry her though and kept following us around with her, so we decided to stay in the room with them.

At about 10pm James told me he thought it was time. And this time I didn't miss it! It was amazing, Josephine was so calm and completely in a world of her own as she pushed out the next kitten who came out feet first.

Twiggie had said that the next kitten will probably have a domino effect and that the other would follow soon after.

Domino was born.
