It was funny because the man in the shop didn't realise that James is English, and started telling us about how weddings work in England, and translated English words for him ("det här tyget kallas shiny, det betyder blank".) Bless.
He was incredibly helpful with lots of good tips. He said that in Sweden the best man does not wear the same clothes as the groom, but instead normally matches his clothes with the fathers and the toastmaster. Or host couple as we will have. And the mothers and fathers should match each other.
Basically those who need to match are me, James, Annika, Barry, Kevin, Kristina, my parents and James' parents. Pheww. We don't need to do it like that though but he really recommended it.
Anyway James tried on some clothes, a waist coat with gold details and a jacket called Bonjour.
He looked so handsome! But we will have a look in Västerås as well as that's where he will be the night before the wedding.
James and the helpful man
